September 2011

On September 11, 2011, we have a choice. We will be asked to remember a time of great suffering, and the beginning of great change for this country and for the world. There will be those who vent anger, those who still hold the sorrow of the time; those who call for revenge; and those who seek to heal. There is no right or wrong, but there is a choice.

September 11

On September 11, 2011, Echo Valley Hope will offer a Day of Peace and Forgiveness
In the spirit of we are all one people and the earth is our home to be enjoyed, we offer a day to heal.
You are most welcome.

Please enjoy and share this video invitation.

Stop the Keystone XL Pipeline from Canada to the Gulf. Please phone the White House and ask President Obama to stop this potential environmental disaster: (202) 456-1111. As of this writing, 700 people have been arrested for their peaceful sit-in at the White House. These people are giving their time, money and conviction. This is an important battle. Everyone is needed.

Call the White House, go to DC, send money to help keep the action alive, send your good wishes for good outcome for us all.

October 6, 2011, we will begin our 11th year in the invasion of Afghanistan. The longest running war in United States history. Many nonviolent groups are converging on Washington and will be holding vigil, asking our government to end the war in Afghanistan, and Iraq, and…
For those who wish to see an end to war, let us start here.

Echo Valley Hope will be sending people to participate in that vigil and will be keeping you aware of the effort. Your help, your support, your participation is welcomed. Let us stand together and make this change happen, peacefully.

For more information, visit October 2011.

You can help ensure the efforts toward sustainable living and peace continue.
