December 2012

In 2013, Echo Valley Hope will celebrate life.
Recognizing we are one People, one Earth, we welcome diversity and the ability to learn from one another. We hold to the promise of Peace and we strive for its awakening in every heart. We recognize that the Earth and all her creatures deserve the right to live with dignity and it is the human hand which must extend kindness to make it so.

Wishing you joy and wonder and the best of New Years!

2 MILLION FRIENDS FOR PEACE IN AFGHANISTAN AND AROUND THE WORLD
International Human Rights Day, December 10

2 Million Friends is calling on the people of the world to help find two million friends for peace, in remembrance of each of the two million Afghan victims of 40 years of war and destruction in Afghanistan. Two million friends to tell our respective governments, "Enough! We wish to live without war."

On December 10, 2012, International Human Rights Day, 2 Million Friends will present a petition to the UN calling for an immediate ceasefire in Afghanistan, leading to direct, substantial talks to end the war, end the government corruption and begin to advocate for the welfare of the majority of the Afghan people who have suffered for too long.

You may sign the petition here.
