The first goat kid
was born last night, a beautiful black and white girl with her daddy’s
ears. The apple trees are slow to bloom because of the prolonged winter
but this bodes well. When they do blossom no ice will rob them of their
beauty – or their apples. Nature teaches patience and fortitude. When
we choose to dance with her instead of trying to conquer, we
become witness and participant to the majesty and the simplicity of

Forging ahead. There
are some people planning to go to Mars. They are inviting
others for the journey and welcoming people each year to go. They know
they will never return. That is, I suppose, one sign of human quest.
Not my cup of tea, I like to walk with the sheep too much, but I do
share the passion of charting new frontiers. The frontiers I want to
examine are those of kindness and peace. And in
my quest, I hunger to meet
others of like mind and heart. It seems it is possible to fall in love
