PAYING ATTENTION

We abuse land because we regard it as a commodity belonging to us. When we see land as a community to which we belong, we may begin to use it with love and respect.
- Aldo Leopold, A Sand County Almanac

There is an effort to remove local control over the use of land in Wisconsin. Please notify elected officials and tell your friends: this will not happen on our watch.
For more, visit Save the Hills Alliance.

Let the PSC Know Where You Stand
We can waste money and time on outdated modes of energy generation and transmission – or we can welcome the future now.
Tell the PSC to stop the Badger-Coulee proposal and to choose NO WIRE ALTERNATIVES.
Final hearing at the Capitol in Madison, January 6.

PEACE WEEK MILWAUKEE 2015

All organizations, faiths and businesses are welcome to host an event towards peace and sustainability during the week of August 16 through 23. Choose the type of event you want to offer: music, art, panel discussions and guest speakers are a few possibilities…and of course great food. This will be an opportunity to learn about each other’s efforts and to raise the voice of peace.

Peace Week

Our next planning sessions will be January 10 and 11, location in Milwaukee TBA. For more, email dena@peaceweekmilwaukee.org.or visit us on Facebook here
